The Department of Tourism Regional Office I, in partnership with the upland Municipality of Adams, Ilocos Norte, has recently conducted the Kulinarya Workshop on August 1-2, 2019.

The training program aimed to promote native cuisines, delicacies, and to highlight locally-available and sourced out products and materials in the upland municipality. The participants also were equipped with the knowledge on proper food handling and safety.

A total of 40 participants attended who were members of the different indigenous communities. Tapped with his expertise in the culinary world, Chef Ram Villaluna was the DOT resource speaker for the two-day activity.
