In line with the Department of Tourism’s mandate to continuously provide assistance to our tourism stakeholders amidst the effect of Proclamation No. 922 s. 2020 on the Enhanced Community Quarantine and to ensure that requests and inquiries from our stranded visitors are promptly acted upon, the Department of Tourism Region 1 has set up a COVID-19 TOURIST ASSISTANCE ONLINE HELP DESK to provide the necessary guidance and assistance.

Some DOT Region 1 personnel, working on a Work from Home Scheme will be manning the online help desks from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily for the duration of the enhanced quarantine period. This initiative is in cooperation with the various local government units through their provincial and local tourism offices, as well as the different regional tourism associations from the accommodation and travel and tour operation sectors.

Stranded tourists within Region 1 (Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan) affected by the mandatory suspension of operation for the accommodation and transportation sectors, needing assistance and guidance may inform us their concerns by clicking the link below and filling up the required information for proper assessment of their situation and documentation. Rest assured that the information being gathered will only be used to assess and facilitate the proper assistance to be provided.
